Terminology: team development, team coaching, team supervision
We use the term team development if no explicit "problem" or conflict is named in the clarification of the assignment. In this case, the reason for team development is the desire for further development of the team: for example, to understand each other better and to make better use of individual strengths...
We speak of team coaching when concrete issues are to be addressed or specific goals are to be achieved through team coaching. This could be, for example, the desire for role-based working in order to strengthen the team's self-efficacy and personal responsibility. Or if there has been critical feedback in an employee survey that indicates that there is potential for development in the interaction between team members (the manager is also a team member).
