Further training in MEDIATION IN BUSINESS CONTEXT (MeB): Developing conflict coaching skills for organizational, team and individual settings

There are no conflict-free zones – neither privately nor professionally. And conflicts are on the rise. We can currently observe this worldwide on a macro level as well as operationally in companies. And yet conflicts are all too often avoided. "We don't have any conflicts" – we actually hear this again and again in a wide variety of organizations! "Really?" we are compelled to ask, because

1) this would suggest that there is stagnation in this organization instead of development and
2) the question arises “How honest are we being with each other right now?”

There are no conflict-free zones …
Ever-widening worlds of values and convictions, multi-rational perspectives from the various professional disciplines, digital transformations in almost all organizations, scarce resources, an omnipresent uncertainty characterized by fear of loss and a lack of individual design perspectives..., this list could probably be continued by any of us. Especially in our world of enormous complexity, interdependence and constant transformation, conflicts are omnipresent. As smouldering, subliminal or hot and flaming issues, they cost productivity and put a strain on cooperation. Conflicts are all too often avoided. Why? Be aware...

  • Having conflicts is not a sign of incompetence
  • Engaging in conflict is not a sign of social incompatibility
  • Conflicts do not have to be destructive; on the contrary: conflicts are a necessary prerequisite for development and learning (cf. Klaus Eidenschink, 2024)

Repression strategies and "sitting it out" block the opportunities that lie in every conflict.

Certification: What routes to certification are available and what options we offer you

We would be delighted to accompany you on your path to certification as a mediator and conflict coach: Because everyone who expands their skillset here will make the world we live and work in a little bit better.

Our training comprises the 130 hours required for certification in accordance with the Ordinance on the Training and Further Education of Certified Mediators (Zertifizierte-Mediatoren-Ausbildungsverordnung – ZMediatAusbV) under the Mediation Act (MediationsG) and provides a sound basis for developing your conflict resolution skills.

For certification, you also need five supervisions in which you reflect on your own mediation cases. We create an appropriate supportive framework for this so that you can develop your conflict coaching skills in a targeted manner.

This is how we design your supervision sessions together:

  • You can complete up to three supervisions within the training modules, flexibly according to your needs and to suit the situation.
  • We also offer online supervision days that you can book individually.

You are of course free to conduct your supervisions with other supervisors of your choice.
